I am a speech pathologist and I am so happy that I found MyTalk. Many of my students have started using MyTalk throughout their day at school and it is just so amazing to see them communicating in this way. However, I ran into the problem of not being able to hear my student’s request, especially in the lunch room or out in the community. So I investigated online and found a case with rechargeable batteries and a nice loud speaker called iMainGoX. Although it comes it a lousy shoulder strap, it has made the iPods programmed with MyTalk into a durable, amplified, low cost “device”. What accessories have you found to work well with your iPod in the special needs community?
