I'm a teacher. I teach Danish children with serious learning disabilities. We use MyTalk in order to help the children remember, what they did yesterday, remembering the program of the day, and as a solution to problems caused by speaking problems.
The children each have their own iPod or iPad, but in the classroom last week we got a smartboard. When the children (aged 6 - 8 years) arrived in the morning, I connected the iPad to the smartboard. What a reaction! When the small children saw their MyTalk on the big screen, they clapped and shouted out loud. What a delight looking at them. Now we use the smartboard in class. It brings the children closer, because I can point on a cell on the big screen, and they can see it clearly. What a succes!
Additionally, I have made cells in MyTalk filled with letters, as we use MyTalk teaching new letters and words. MyTalk is great, because it combines pictures, text and sound into one cell.
