Our expectation about My Talk French version was that the engilsh words ( text and voice ) were translated automatically by the purchase of French Acapela. But it seems that it will be a lot of work to adapt the app for a French autism child.
Some applications come loaded with so much content that users spent hours and hours removing content to make it right for their situation. Whether in English, French or any language, MyTalk starts with very little. But we have many donated boards in our 'submissions' library, donated by professionals to help you quickly get it ready for your situation. And remember the beauty of MyTalk is that you can easily customize with your personal content bringing engagement of your end user, which is the most important step. We also love the recorded voice. Some users don't use Acapela, they just record voice into the cell. That is why we are used in 47 countries today. I agree there is an additional step translating the text, but start small to get engagement, then grow.
This family did.
We hope to hear back from you with success stories of your own.
