I am a contract SLP who works from two different computers. One at school and one at home office. Can I use my home computer to create boards in addition to the school one? I am registered for a trial period as of 9/7/12. It is connected to my school email address. My private email is email@example.com. Can I use both?
Yes you can use more than one desktop to build boards. We call it remote board building preventing you from taking the device from the end user. You can use the school computer, your home computer or any computer.
About email addresses: When you create a MyTalk user name, we ask for an email address. That address is where we send password reminders if you forget. Keep that in mind when selecting your email address.
To sign on from any computer, go to www.mytalktools.com, click on the orange Login button at the top right.
You will then move to the Login page.
Enter your MyTalk user name (or the email address originally used when you created your user name) followed by the MyTalk password, then click login button below.
3 interruptions may happen before you get to Workspace. This is how you deal with each.
1. You will be taking to 'Your Account' page.
This will only happen until you complete the required fields. We never share information but if you are worried that we might, type in garbage text. Agree to the terms of service at the bottom of the page.
and save profile.
2. You will be told that you have 'x' number of days remaining on your WORKSPACE trial.
'OK' takes you to the purchase screen,
'Cancel' takes you to Workspace, if you are not ready to purchase.
3. On older machines or machines without Silverlight, you will be asked to install Sliverlight and you will be walked through the process.
Item 1 will never happen again after you complete the requested fields.
Item 2 will occur during the trial period, unless you are a support professional and follow support professional instructions in the link below.
Item 3 happens once per machine. From that point forward you are building boards.
