If you're interested in collaborating with parents and the rest of the school team, don't forget that you can email a board to anyone and they'll get a fully function AAC experience in the browser (without having to learn workspace). The command is under "Print" in Workspace. It's a great way to get people involved who might not otherwise be willing or able to use Workspace.

    Todd,

My school is really excited about the possibilities that MyTalk opens up.  I have used my personal iPad for several months to teach curriculum and just wrote a grant for 15 more for other staff members.  I have had students who have never given me their attention not want to take their hands off the application.

I'd love to hear more about what you're using MyTalk for.  Maybe we can share ideas!

    Hi Deb and Ken,

Thanks for the responses.  Sorry for the delay in responding, I have been temporarily sidetracked with some other projects, but I am still very confident that I will be able to use this valuable tool (My Talk) in the near future.  I'm also in a bit of a 'holding pattern' right now as an outside Augmentative Communications team completes some assessments.  I am continuing to advocate for the use of My Talk Tools, but I need to wait a bit before I can move ahead.

I'll keep you posted when I am able to utilize this tool to its full potential.

Feel free to share any successes that you've had over the past couple months.

    Take care,

    Todd
