Adding content in Mobile is similar to the 'Gear' method in Workspace. And adding different types of content is very similar.
Below is an image of a home board in User Mode. Login by tapping the Author button at top right. To begin editing, tap the 'Author' button at top right.
Below is an image of a home board in 'Author' (edit) mode. Notice the 'View' toggle at bottom right and the Sync circle. Those, along with 'Done' at top right are indications that you have already logged in.
Tap the 'View' Toggle at bottom right, then tap any cell. Notice in the image below that 'Edit' at bottom right is now red, and you have 4 options displayed.
1. Edit Cell...Name of cell
2. Perform Action...Name of Cell
3. Edit Board - Name of current board
4. Repeat.
In this getting started tutorial we will choose the top option, 'Edit cell'
You are now presented the 'Edit Cell Properties' dialogue box. The appearance of this box will change if you are using an iPad or an iPhone (android). Notice on the iPad at bottom left there is a scroll icon (up and down arrows.

Notice on the iPhone image that your editing options are stacked causing your to swipe up and down. Experiment with both to get comfortable.

This tutorial will focus on the image options. Experiment with the other options like Sound, Video, Child boards. Our sound options include recording your own voice which has made MyTalk an international solution since our introduction in 2009.
Adding an image:
In the example image above, there is already an image in the cell. If there was no image you would see a '+' sign. Look at the Sound and Video section in the images above for an illustration of the '+'.
In our example you have several choices to tap that are stacked on the left side of the image section. See below for an explanation of each.
1. Trash icon to trash the existing image
2. Pencil icon to edit the existing image
3. Left Arrow/Right arrow icons to replace the image
4. Hand with arrow image to rotate the image. Sometimes rotation is necessary after you first load an image from your device.
5. < icon with circles on at each point. Select this to share the image.
6. Yes -- No Symbols - Very useful symbols to indicate the item is not available.
We are going to select the 'Left / Right Arrow' to replace the image.
Notice You have many places to get your image including your photo album, taking a picture using your device, Web searches, your icloud files and others. Experiment with them all.
In this example we choose 'Saved Photo Albums' from the list above. In the image below we selected camera role.
Up pops our Camera role. Tap the picture you want to use.
You return to the Edit dialogue box with your new image selected. See below.
Now select 'Done' at the top right of the 'Edit Cell Properties' dialogue box.
You are finished. Notice that you are back at your home board with the new image replacing the other image. You are still in edit mode. We suggest that you now select the Sync Circle to move your changes to Workspace. Whether or not you choose to purchase Workspace, we make it available for you to sync. Syncing means that your content is safe on our servers no matter what happens to your device. Sync often, sync small, whenever you make changes.
That is how you edit an image. Please experiment with all of the functionality. The basics are very simple and we will post tutorials about the more sophisticated functions from time to time.
